How It Works
Working with a web designer can feel like a mystery. Here is exactly what happens, step by step, from the first conversation to launch day and beyond.
Free, no obligation
We start with a quick call or message to talk about your business, what you need, and what you are hoping to accomplish. No pressure, no pitch. Just a conversation to figure out if we are a good fit and what the right approach looks like for you.
What you need to bring
Scope, price, timeline
Once we know what you need, I put together a clear scope of work with a flat price and a realistic timeline. No hourly rates, no surprise invoices. You know exactly what you are getting and what it costs before anything starts.
What happens here
Design, code, review
This is where the work happens. I design and build your site from scratch, hand-coded to match your brand. You will see it take shape through a shared preview link so you can follow along, give feedback, and request changes without waiting until the end.
What you need to provide
Live, handed off, yours
When the site is approved and ready, I deploy it to your domain and walk you through everything. How to make basic updates, where to find your files, how to manage your Google Business Profile. You leave with a site that is live and a clear picture of how to use it.
What gets handed off
30 days included, retainer optional
Every project includes 30 days of post-launch support. If something needs adjusting, a typo needs fixing, or you just have a question, I am available. After that, you can stay on a monthly retainer if you want ongoing updates and management, or you walk away with everything you need to run it yourself.
Included in every project
Typical Project
Most projects move from conversation to launch in two to four weeks. Here is what a typical timeline looks like.
First call, scope confirmed, quote accepted, deposit received, start date locked in.
You send over photos, copy, and business details. I ask questions and fill any gaps.
Site takes shape on a preview link. You review and request changes as it develops.
Final revisions, testing on all devices, SEO basics, and pre-launch checklist completed.
Site goes live, walkthrough call, files handed off. 30-day support window begins.
